CONNECTED links high school females with women mentors from a vast spectrum of career backgrounds. We believe that young women need access to role models who are willing to share their stories and career pathways, ultimately creating a culture of support and empowerment between successful women and young women females. This event gives young females the opportunity to receive career advice and guidance from professional women, develop career connections, and explore various career options.

connected spring 2022
CONNECTED links high school females with women mentors from a vast spectrum of career backgrounds. We believe that young women need access to role models who are willing to share their stories and career pathways, ultimately creating a culture of support and empowerment between successful women and young women females. We welcome students pursuing all post-secondary pathways: work, university, college or apprenticeship and those who are still deciding.
Throughout the virtual event, students interact with other students and several “mentors” from our community as they hear the stories, career goals, and life lessons from the mentors and share their own future plans. CONNECTED empowers and creates connections between successful women and young females.
This event gives young females the opportunity to:
- Receive career advice and guidance from professional women
- Develop career connections
- Explore various career options
