Youth Mental Health and Addiction Services: Support for Disordered Eating and Eating Disorders:

As of 2026, the Youth Nourishing Connections (YNC) Clinic, part of Youth Mental Health & Addiction Services with the Saskatchewan Health Authority in Saskatoon, provides evidence-based, family-centered care for youth ages 11–18 with feeding or eating disorders. Their interdisciplinary team – which includes pediatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, dietitians, and recreation therapists – supports youth living with Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder. The team practices from a Health at Every Size (HAES) framework and works collaboratively to streamline care, reduce appointment burden, and support shared treatment goals.
