Brigette is a proud member of Cote First Nation. She is the first Indigenous woman to play on the Canadian Women’s Olympic hockey team, the first Indigenous woman to scout for an NHL team and an advocate for today’s youth.

Brigette will share her story of dedication and passion for hockey as well as the obstacles she has overcome including racism, gender discrimination and challenges with mental health and addiction. Her story of resilience, hard work and passion will inspire our youth.
