Description
If you are currently completing Grade 10, 11 or 12, looking for a summer job and are considering pursuing a career in the trades after high school; the Saskatchewan Youth Internship Program (SYIP) is for you!
- Start date: July 6, 2026
- End date: August 14, 2026. Some internships may be longer.
Apply by: Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
Mandatory Info Night: Tuesday, April 28
WHY SHOULD YOU APPLY?
- Obtain summer employment
- Receive competitive industry wages
- Earn high school Apprenticeship credits
- Provided with a mentor to experience first-hand what the skilled trades are all about
- Grade 12 students may be offered full time employment at completion of program

Before you begin, you will need:
- Student health card number
- Parent/Guardian Email Address
- Current Resume in PDF/Word format
- Name and email address of 2 Student Recommendation choices
- 1 MUST be a current or former teacher
- 1 can be an individual of your choosing (coach, pastor, tutor, employer, teacher etc..)
